Choirboys are called "Kurrende" in Germany. These were handmade in the Erzgebirge region of Germany. These choirboys hold the notes of Silent Night in their hands. The tallest boy is the leader which is symbolized by carrying a star. This is an old tradition in this area of Germany. Size without the star carrier is 3 inches tall.
