Saving oven (piggy bank) with boy and concertina - Wendt & Kuhn

On snowy Winter nights people used to sit at the tiled stove and make music together or tell stories. Grete Wendt must have been inspired by that when she created a whole series of different saving stoves around 1930. Two of them are now back in the 2007 collection. Size 4.5" x 4"
