This Wendt & Kühn angel holding candles was one of the new creations released in the fall of 2009. She is currently available in blonde or brunette hair, just specify your preference in the notes section towards end of the checkout process. She was derived from the so-called "Angel 28" based on it's original catalog number. She was already an idea before the Wendt & Kuhn company was founded in 1912. Grete Wendt originally sketched it as a decoration for a circle of lights but later revised it to send as a "waif-like Christmas Angel" to her brother Johannes fighting in the field during the first wartime Christmas of 1914. After many decades in the Grand Sample Cabinet, this little cherub, the smallest of the six piece series of white angels with candles, has been reissued to help spread the magical joys of the season. She is 2.8 inches tall.
