This unbelievable music box creation called the "Cowlsip" is a fitting tribute to the 100 year Wendt & Kühn anniversary. An exceptional piece and one worthy of the 100th anniversary. Released in the spring of 2015 this music box was designed by Grete Wendt in 1953. A maximum of 350 of these will be made in 2015. It features 52 colors, 72 notes and 332 individual parts – a unique composition of the finest craftsmanship. At the heart of this music box lies once again a Swiss precision music works made by the renowned traditional manufacturer Reuge. A musical premiere: For the first time a 72-note movement plays three melodies in a row. Accompanied
by masterpieces by Mozart, happy children dance in perfect formation round a hillock covered in cowslips. This is a piece that will be enjoyed by your family for generations to come. A true masterpiece which will be coveted by collectors throughout the world in very limited quantities. Height is 9.5 inches tall.
Music includes three melodies by W. A. Mozart including a.) “Das klinget so herrlich” from “The Magic Flute” b.) The Minuet from the Third Movement of “A Little Night Music” c.) “Turkish March” from “Piano Sonata No. 11”.
