In October of 2015 Wendt & Kühn commemorates its 100th anniversary. To help commemorate the anniversary Wendt & Kühn has been working on a new angel drawn cart that it plans to release in beginning of August 2015. They started the design process with a 1937 angel drawn cart that was originally created as a commissioned piece for the Brot-Union bakery in Chemnitz, Germany. They took the design a bit further replete with splinter box, apple, gift and much more. Each of the cart side pockets holds a pure silver coin minted at the Baden-Württemberg State Mint. The reverse sides show the Wendt & Kühn signet while one of the obverse sides features Grete Wendt and the other the historical half timbered house in Grünhainichen. Each one of a kind piece is numbered on its base and on its accompanying certificate of authenticity.
A true collectors piece.
