Grete Wendt designed a small group of six Lantern Children in the 1930s. With this pair released in May of 2015 the lively children’s parade is now complete again.
“I’m walking with my lantern, my lantern walks with me. Above the stars are shining, below are shining we.” This will probably be the song on the lips of the Lantern Children as they parade with their brightly colored lanterns at dusk. They have made their lanterns themselves. They are trying to outshine the stars.
